The girls have been spending a lot of time working on their softball skills. They still have not had any games yet, one week both games were cancelled due to rain. The next week, the opposing team didn't show up to play. I'm really excited to see how they do as a team, because they do have a pretty good little team, mostly 5th and 6th graders, Savannah is the only 7th grader on the team. The girls (Savannah and Olivia) are both hitting the ball really good. Savannah has already built a reputaion for slugging the ball. Savannah is still working on her pitching and Olivia is going to be our multi-position player. She played 3rd base in their one scrimmage game, but she is able to catch those high popflys really well.

I'm hoping for BIG things from you softball girls!! We really want to see you play softball. Softball has a "special" place in my heart!
Good Luck to you and your team.
Ok, Brandon and I had to look pretty close to tell the difference between Savannah and Olivia. I can't believe how much they have changed. When did those two start looking so old?
